Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Vieolo B.V. (“Vieolo”, “we”, “us”) is a private limited company established under the laws of the Netherlands, with registered office at Oude Boekeloseweg 33, 7553 DS Hengelo, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KVK 96973374, VAT number NL867856579B01. We operate the website fundingbanker.com and the application at app.fundingbanker.com (together, the “Service”).
We are the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at support@fundingbanker.com with “Privacy” in the subject line.
2. Personal data we collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information — when you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google’s OAuth service.
- Project and application data — anything you enter about your fundraising activity: project details, applications you have logged, pitch decks you have registered, suitability marks, and notes.
- Billing details — Stripe collects and processes your payment data; we receive only a customer identifier (no card numbers) and your subscription status.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Session cookies — strictly necessary for authentication. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
- Website analytics — on our marketing website (fundingbanker.com) we use DataFast, a cookieless analytics tool. It sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifier on your device. Visitors are counted using a server-side hash (derived from your IP address, user agent, and the site domain) that rotates about every 24 hours, so you cannot be tracked across days or other websites.
- Server logs — IP address, user agent, and request timestamps. Used to operate and secure the Service.
We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18.
3. Why we process your data, and our lawful basis
Under Article 6 of the GDPR, our processing activities and their lawful bases are:

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising or to train machine-learning models.
4. Sub-processors
We use the following providers to operate the Service. All process data on our behalf under data-processing terms.

We choose providers that operate within the EU/EEA where possible. All application data and database backups are stored in EU data centers.
5. International data transfers
Your application data is hosted in the European Union. The only routine transfer outside the EU/EEA is the cookieless website-analytics data processed by DataFast in the United States; aside from that, we transfer your data outside the EU/EEA only for incidental processing by sub-processors. All such transfers are covered by Standard Contractual Clauses as listed in Section 4.
6. Retention
- Account data: kept while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days after you close your account, except where retention is required by law (e.g., invoicing records: 7 years per Dutch tax law).
- Server logs: 90 days.
- Stripe billing records: retained per Stripe’s policies and Dutch tax law.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate personal data corrected;
- have your personal data erased (“right to be forgotten”);
- have processing of your personal data restricted;
- receive your personal data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens — autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl) or your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email support@fundingbanker.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. We respond within one month.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies only:
- Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Deleted when you sign out.
- OAuth state cookie — short-lived; used during the Google sign-in flow to prevent cross-site request forgery.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our website analytics (DataFast) is cookieless — it sets no cookies and stores no persistent identifier on your device (see Section 2.2). Because every cookie we set is strictly necessary for the service you requested, and our analytics neither sets cookies nor stores a persistent identifier on your device, no cookie consent banner is required under the ePrivacy Directive.
9. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified by email to your account address at least 14 days before they take effect. The current version always lives at fundingbanker.com/privacy with an “Effective date” at the top.
