in research time

Every investor is added by us, checked for stage, geography, sector, ticket band, and the gates that quietly disqualify most rounds (minimum MRR, founder count, city restrictions). The moment you filter, only the firms that actually fit your round are left.

Your journey

Everything you need to close the round

Fundraising is a journey and our tools are here to support you along the way. A curated directory of investors to find the right matches, marking and note-taking for each potential investor, a pitch manager to store and analyze, and an application tracker that tells you what's working and what's not.

01 · Investor directory

A comprehensive directory of VCs with all the info that matters

Each entry is manually added and reviewed, with the stage focus, geography (with city-level restrictions), industries, ticket band, minimum MRR, and minimum founder count. Don't waste time discovering it all yourself.

  • Filters: stage, vertical, country, city, ticket size
  • Currency-aware ticket fit (for those investors whose currency does not match yours)
  • Tags group investors that share something; parent firm, ecosystem, alias
  • And editorial notes from us

02 · Projects & rounds

Every round you'll ever raise, in one workspace

Each project can have multiple rounds running in parallel, a bridge alongside the next round, an extension on the seed. Your context from the last round is right where you left it the next time you raise.

  • One project per startup, many rounds per project
  • Each round has its own stage, target, MRR snapshot, and shortlist
  • Switch between rounds without losing your place
  • Closed rounds stay archived with history, applications, and notes preserved

03 · Suitability & notes

Tag every investor against the round you're running

As you work the directory, mark each investor for the active round: good, pass, future, maybe, or review-needed. Your reasoning lives next to the firm, scoped to the round. What was "future" at seed often becomes "good" at Series A.

  • Five levels of suitability: good, pass, future, maybe, review-needed
  • Per-round marks
  • Free-form notes per investor, attached to the round
  • Notes follow the firm forward when you raise the next round

Series A focused. Worth re-engaging once MRR > $80K, keep on the long-list and circle back at the next round.

04 · Application tracker

Every pitch you make is a potential investment

Every application is a row. Every reply, every status change, and every conversation is logged against the application so you can see who actually moved this week and who hasn't responded since the deck went out.

  • Stage tracking from pending to receiving the funds
  • Conversation log per application, giving you a clear idea of what's working
  • Rejection reasons captured (stage mismatch, conflict, no reason given) for the next round

Or raise the round by asking

Funding Banker is a remote MCP server, so you can connect the assistant you already use — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code — and put it to work on your directory, your shortlist, and your pipeline.

  • One click, no API key
Your assistant sends you to Funding Banker, you sign in and approve it once, and it gets its own credential. Nothing to copy, paste, or keep secret — and the same server address works for every account.
  • It does the work, not just the reading
It searches the directory, opens the firms worth opening, records applications, logs the conversations that follow, moves an application forward, and marks investors for the round. Everything it writes shows up in your account as if you had entered it yourself.
  • Yours to revoke, included in the plan
It acts as you, within the permissions you approved, and you can cut any assistant off at any time from your profile. There's no separate charge and no second account to manage.
Works with any MCP-compatible client

14 of the 23 firms you marked good accept cold applications, and 4 of those lead at seed. Northwind Capital is the closest fit on ticket band and stage.

I've opened an application to Northwind and logged today's email against it. Want me to do the same for the other three?

FAQ
We add every investor by hand. Each firm is checked for stage focus, geography (including city-level restrictions where relevant), industries, ticket band, and the gates that disqualify most rounds (minimum MRR, minimum founder count, etc.). The directory grows continuously as we add new firms.
Yes. Each project can have several rounds running in parallel or back-to-back. Each round has its own shortlist, applications, and notes, so the next time you raise, your context from the last round is still there.
You can cancel renewal at any time and keep full access until the end of the period you paid for — the month or the year, depending on your plan. We don't offer refunds, but you're never locked in beyond the period you've already paid.
Both unlock exactly the same platform. Monthly is the lower commitment and the easier way to start alongside a live raise; yearly costs less over a full twelve months. You can switch between them at any time from your profile, and Stripe prorates the difference.
No. The directory and the rest of the platform sit behind the subscription.
No. Funding Banker is the toolkit and the curated list. We surface investors who fit your round and the context you'll need to reach out, but we don't take a cut and we don't broker the meeting.
No. Funding Banker provides the information, research, and workflows for running a round and not the outreach itself. We don't send pitches on your behalf, and we deliberately don't expose investor email addresses. We're not a spam platform, and the investors who let us list them wouldn't be there if we were.
Yes. Funding Banker is a remote MCP server, so any MCP-compatible assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code — can connect to your account. Connecting takes one click from inside the assistant: there is no API key or token to copy anywhere. Once connected it can read your projects, rounds, applications, notes, and the investor directory, and it can record applications, log conversations, and mark investors for a round on your behalf. It acts as you, within the permissions you approved, and you can revoke any assistant at any time. It's included in the subscription at no extra charge.
At this moment, we are focused on Europe and North America. Very soon, we will expand our focus to Asia as well.
